Atlanta Summer Festivals



Wanting to get outdoors, socialize, and see the sights?! After a crazy year, Atlanta is finally reopening to allow outdoor festivals this summer! Below, we've outlined the events we're most eager to attend...


CHASTAIN SPRING ARTS AND CRAFT FESTIVAL

Saturday May 15th - Sunday May 16th

Chastain Park

Visitors will enjoy fine art and crafts, a children’s area, and local food and beverage concessions including the gourmet food trucks. Local acoustic musicians will enliven the atmosphere. This event is organized by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces and volunteer artists. Best of all, it’s entirely free to attend!


FESTIVAL ON PONCE

Saturday June 5th - Sunday June 6th

Olmsted Linear Park

The Festival on Ponce is an Atlanta arts and crafts festival set in the historic park, Olmsted Linear Park. Visitors will enjoy the gorgeous landscape designed by one of America’s most celebrated landscape architects, Fredrick Olmsted Sr. along with over 125 displays of fine arts and crafts, folk and “outsider art”. In addition to the fine arts, there will be a children’s area and local food and beverage. Attendance is Free.


ATLANTA SUMMER BEER FEST

Saturday June 12th 4-8PM

Historic Old Fourth Ward Park

We will have over 150 beers, featuring the local Atlanta Breweries, and great breweries from all over the country. A full list of beers will be posted the week of the festival. We will also have 25+ wine options, ciders, mimosas and hard seltzers.

We will have some fun attractions this year, including live music and DJ Qtip on the main stage. .

Tickets are $45 advance, $50 after June 3, and $60 day of event. Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, April 28 at 10am.

ATLANTA DOGWOOD FESTIVAL

Friday August 6th -Sunday August 8th

Piedmont Park

An Atlanta staple for more than 80 years, there is something for everyone at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival. Virtually every kind of art imaginable is represented at the festival, with a nationally renowned-juried Fine Artist Market that includes sculpture, paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography and much more.


DECATUR BBQ BLUES AND BLUEGRASS FESTIVAL

Saturday August 14th

500 South Columbia Drive Decatur

Get your tickets now and help us celebrate the return of outdoor live music and help us celebrate the festival's 20th anniversary. All while under the sun, and stars with great BBQ, awesome blues and bluegrass music, featuring our headliner Grammy nominated G Love & The Juice!


PIEDMONT PARK ARTS FESTIVAL

Saturday August 21st - Sunday August 22nd

Piedmont Park

The Piedmont Park Summer Arts Festival is a 2-day outdoor event with an emphasis on the visual arts and family fun presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, for people of all ages, customs, and interests. This event will feature up to 250 painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metalwork, glass blowers, jewelers, and crafters! The Festival will also offer artist demonstrations, live acoustic music, a children’s play area, plus festival foods and beverages with healthy alternatives.
